NEXT WEEK!
The goals of the ballet are to create a living legacy to honour women killed because of woman abuse; to generate insight and action on woman abuse and intimate femicide by using the arts as a catalyst for community dialogue and action; to raise broad-based public awareness; and to reach communities in every province in the Country – in particular young women under the aged of 25.
Having seen this ballet, our Executive Director, Megan Walker knows how effective it is in achieving these goals. The audience in Ottawa was taken through a journey of mixed emotions to an end where they were inspired to take action.
